As director of the Irish practice, Michael leads on all projects in the Republic of Ireland in addition to contributing to projects in the United Kingdom. Over the course of his career, Michael has gained considerable experience in the design and delivery of high-end residential new-builds and refurbishments in London and Republic of Ireland in addition to contributing to restaurant, entertainment and retail projects in the Greater London area.
Central to Michael’s design ethos is the delivery of energy efficient, sustainable designs that equally respond to a clients brief in terms of context, style and function. With a passion for the discipline of architectural technology, Michael has experience acting as technical design lead on large projects including as part of the Design & Build Team for the external refurbishment works to the Imperial War Museum, London, designed by Foster + Partners and as the Principal Designer for the development of the 3no. 2-bedroom mews house development in Camden, London recognised in the Award for Excellence in Architectural Technology at the AT Awards and New Build Award at the CABE Built Environment Awards in 2019.
Michael regularly represents the Chartered Institute of Architectural Technologists (CIAT) at industry trade shows and conferences, including speaking on the Architecture, Design and Planning Stage at the National Construction Summit, Citywest, Dublin in 2018 and 2019 and SelfBuild+ Virtual in 2020.
