Formed in 2004, healycornelius design has developed an architectural, technological and design practice to serve a growing client based for projects in the South East of England and South West of Ireland. The practice has grown steadily, nurturing a strong team of architectural technologists and designers who create solutions and deliver consultancy services to private and commercial clients, architects, contractors and interior designers.
Integrated within the design development is a solid knowledge of construction, detailing, procurement and statutory regulations, ensuring efficient design and management from an
early stage. The development of the brief and opportunities that emerge are carefully managed to deliver a solution that represents value for money and is sustainable in both environmental terms and flexibility of use. This approach ultimately reduces the risk of delays and exaggerated costs which a project can become prone to from lack of planning before implementation.
Care is taken from the outset of the project to ensure that the end results meet with the clients' vision and the solution is delivered on schedule and within budget. Relationships have been established with suppliers, manufacturers and contractors to source the best solutions. A review of our portfolio will give a feel for the level of quality and range of projects that healycornelius design deliver.
We are a Chartered Practice with the
Chartered Institute of Architectural
Technologists (CIAT), which is the
lead qualifying body for Architectural
Technology, that sets the standards
for professional conduct for those
practising in the discipline.
As Chartered Members of a professional body, this gives our clients greater peace of mind that we have the necessary qualifications with expertise to provide our services. In addition, as part of the professional Code of Conduct, we carry professional indemnity insurance cover for all the projects we undertake.
At healycornelius, we follow the RIBA Plan of Work 2020 which organises the process of briefing, designing, delivering, maintaining, operating and using a building into eight stages. It is a framework for all disciplines on construction projects.
First initiated in 1963, it has been the definitive model for bringing greater clarity to the different stages of a project. It has evolved over the years to reflect changing trends in project approaches and has become an industry-wide tool.
